Netherlands TV Online Channels

In Netherlands television began to broadcast live in 1951. Netherlands Public Broadcaster was founded in 1930. After that there were made several experiment in the area of radio and television live broadcast. In 1989 the Netherlands Public Broadcaster operated three TV channels, Nederland 1, Nederland 2, and Nederland 3. Nederland 1 broadcasts news, current affairs, sport news and events. The second channel, Nederland 2 offers a various range of programs including news, politics, economics, current affairs, culture and art. The thirst TV channel is mostly dedicated to young people. These three national channels collect some money to finance their activities from commercial advertising. But they feature ads only between different programs and not during shows or any other program. TV High definition television was introduced in 2006. Today, TV stations are available via cable, terrestrial, satellite television services and IPTV. HD TV channels are available via cable and satellite services.
