Antenna Greece is better known as ANT1. The television channel is airing as well in Greece as in Cyprus. It was launched on 31 December 1989, in the same year as its main rival Mega TV. ANT1 was for many years the most popular tv station but was overtaken by MEGA TV. It offers various programming including comedies, news, dramas and entertainment shows. The studios are located in Maroussi, Athens.
