Ecuador TV Online Channels

Television is the major media in Ecuador. The first live program was transmitted by Television Ecuatoriana in 1959. The next years were marked by television development in this country. New TV stations were established. In 1967, Ecuavisa was launched. It was followed by TC Television launched in 1969. Today, people usually enjoy watching TV channels through cable television services, IPTV. There are available national, regional and local stations. TV channels offer a various range of programming including news, series and soap operas. Some of the stations are completely controlled by the government. Usually, channels broadcast Spanish language programs. Even if the national language is Spanish, there are some English language programs available in this country.
