Canada TV Online Channels

In Canada, television started to broadcast live in 1952. A part of the Canadian population, those who lived near the border with USA, had the chance to benefit of the US broadcast signals. This was a good started for the establishment of television in this country. The first television stations were established in Toronto and Montreal. They were called CBFT, in Montreal and CBLT, in Toronto. Until 1954, the Canadians had bought approximately one million TV sets. In 1961, it was founded the first private television station, CTV. The television continuously developed the following years. Nowadays, most TV channels transmit 24 hours per day a various range of programming. It consists of news, movies, morning shows, talk shoes, soap operas, religious programs.
