Saeta TV Canal 10 went on air on 7 December 1956 as the first channel in the country, founded by Raul Fontaina. The name stands for Sociedad Anónima de Emisoras de Televisión y Anexos which is also managing the station. It closed a partnership in 2004 with News Corporation and in 2006 with Warner Bros, Paramount, Dreamworks and 20th Century Fox to broadcast their programs, movies and series.
