S4C live broadcast started on 1 November 1982. The name stands for Channel 4 Wales. Its programs are dedicated to the Welsh speaking audience. It was the first channel of its kind and the 5 television channel in UK. S4C is also available in high definition since 30 April 2010. The scheduled programs are third party productions from BBC Cymru and various independent producers. the schedule mainly consists of news, soap opera, entertainment and shows for children.
