Tele 1 was formerly known as TeleTell until 1 February 2010. It was founded on 31 March 1992 as a video magazine. The channel is owned and operated since 1 April 2009 by LZ Medien AF. The live broadcast as television channel started on March 1994. Tele 1 covers an audience of about 160.000 daily viewers.
