Sponka TV started it terrestrial broadcast in 2003. It was a cable only TV channel until this time. It is available terrestrial on channel 52 UHF. This frequency is heavily disputed with the Italian channel Italia Uno, since both channels use the same frequency in different countries. Sponka TV and Italia Uno live broadcasts interfere at the border area in both Slovenia and Italy.
