Toscana Tv went live for the first time in November 1976 from Siena. It shortly increased its coverage area and became available in the mid 80s in the whole region of Tuscany. The digital terrestrial transmission started in May 2005 and is available in the cities of florence, Pisa, siena, Grosetto, Livorno, Massa Carrara and the province of Pistoia. The schedule consists of 4 daily newscasts (at 13:45, 19:00, 20:30 and 00:50), local and regional news every hour from 10am to 23pm, sports and other informational programs.
