GRP Televisione started broadcasting live in 1979 as GRP - No Stop. It was one of the first local television channels in Turin and also among the first to broadcast in color. The channel was initially located in Via San Dalmazzo but were moved in August 1981 to Via Camerana because of a devastating fire. The Group expanded its bouquet as digital television was introduced. The first to be launched was GRP Market on the 6th of May 2010. Shortly after, on 22 February 2011, four more channels were added GRP 2 News, GRP 3 Piedmont, GRP 5 Punto Zero and GRP 6 Sei Tu.
