Cult TV

Cult TV went live on 1 Jabnuary 2006. The channel was founded by Cult Network Italy but was acquired in 2005 by Fox International Channels and reaches a market share of 0.05% (as 2008). It was formerly known as CNI, the short name for Cult Network Italia and was renamed by Fox shortly after it acquisition. As a thematic channel dedicated to cinema and culture, the station won the Hot Bird TV Award in 2002 as the best thematic channel in Europe dedicated to culture. The transmission is available in 16:9 format since 1 December 2009.
