ETV2 went live on 23 December 2003, owned and operated by Network 18, founded in 1995 by Ramoji Rao. The broadcasts are fully dedicated to news, current affairs and information. It is the only channel in the country to have the newscasts in the Telugu language. It covers international, national as well as regional news and events.
