Skai TV began its live broadcast in 1993, founded by the Ski Group. The channel was sold in 1999 and therefore rebranded as Alpha TV. Skai Group acquired Seven TV in 2006 and renamed it into Skai TV. It was the first television station worldwide to use only digital technology. The schedule consists mainly of dramas, sport, movies, news and various informational and entertainment shows.
