Mad TV

Mad TV went live on 6 June 1996, founded by Andreas Kouris as the first music channel in Greece. The target audience are young people aged 15-24. The channel features the yearly MAD Video Music Awards festival. The broadcast covers most popular music genres like hip hop, dance, pop and rock. It mostly consists of music videos, interactive shows, interviews, concerts but also cinema news and music related documentaries. Generally 50% of the featured music is Greek and 50% is international. The channel is available terrestrial on 68 UHF in Athens and 20 UHF in Thessaloniki. It is also available in other regions of Greece thanks to repeaters and affiliate stations.
