VOX started its live broadcast on 25 January 1993 dedicated to news and information. The programming grid was changed in September 2003 to also include various US series and movies. Step by step it changed into an entertainment station by also including various shows ana magazines and less and less news. The channel is today owned and operated by the RTL Group.
