ODF TV went live on 10 October 2009, owned and operated by Eberswalder Blitz Werbe & Verlags GmbH. The name is the short version for Ostbrandenburgisches Digitalfernsehen (Digital Television in East Brandenburg). The station was established due to the merge of TV Oskar (launched in 1995) and Eberswalde TV (launched in 2003). It is reachable by cable in the Barnim and Oder-Spree being available to around 120 thousand viewers. The headquarter is based in Eberswalde and it also features regional offices in Bernau and Fürstenwalde.
