HSE24 started its live transmission on 16 October 1995 as HOT (Hot Order Television). It was the first teleshopping channel in Germany, founded by Quelle GmbH and ProSiebenSat.1 Media. It was renamed later, in 2001 as HSE24 standing for Home Shopping Europe. It is now owned and operated by Axa Private Equity with 88% and HSE24 Management with 12% of the shares. due to its German language broadcasts, it is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is also available in HD since 1 September 2011.
