Comedy Central started its live German language version on 15 January 2007. It is owned and operated by Viacom and replaced the VIVA PLUS channel. Its programming grid consists exclusively of comedy series and shows. It features German in house productions as well as British and US ones. The German version is dedicated to Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
