Ethiopia TV Online Channels
Television in Ethiopia started to broadcast live for the first time in 1964. In 1965, an educational project decided the introduction of a new TV station with special programming for students. In 1971, there were five educational programs dedicated to students. Color television was introduced in 1982. In 1935 Ethiopian Radio was established. Later, in 1964, Ethiopian Television also known as ETV was launched. In 1995, Ethiopian Radio and Ethiopian Television merged and Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency or ERTA was created. Today, there are two major channels in this country, ETV1 and ETV2. These channels offer regular broadcast with a various range programming including news, politics, documentaries, movies, culture, entertainment shows and much more.
