CMB Television started its live broadcast in the summer of 2004 although the broadcast licence was issued in January the same year. The TV channel is owned and operated by the Centro Misionero Bethesda, founded by pPastor Jorge Enrique Gómez Montealegre. The church has more than 30.000 members in Bogota and around 200.000 around the country. It also features more than 100 branches around the country.
